![]() ![]() As always, this substantial content update introduces a plethora of new features to enhance your gameplay experience. While we don't have a specific date yet, it's important to note that when we release it, the servers on the public test branch will have to be wiped, so please keep that in mind. Our current plan is to start tests over on the public test branch (PTB) for HORSEPOCALYPSE, sometime in July. To guarantee the best possible experience for all of you, we will be working on optimization for a few more weeks to fine-tune the content before it's ready for testing. The challenge lies in ensuring a smooth performance while accommodating the fast movement of horses and the additional animations they bring to the game. We know how excited y’all are for the release of rideable horses in RUST Console Edition and the team has been working to optimise this feature since we released Cultivator on the main branch. There are other fixes coming with the monthly wipe, so be sure to keep an eye on our website so you don’t miss the patch notes for 1.71. ![]() This fix will improve the node system and bring RUST Console Edition more in line with the STEAM version in that aspect. Don't worry though! We have a fix ready for the upcoming patch on June 29th, coinciding with the Monthly Wipe. However, we encountered a small bug that caused the node density to be lower than intended. They now spawn closer to the cliffs, following the pattern from the STEAM version. With the new terrain and map generation changes, the way nodes spawn on the map has been affected. But there's one specific aspect we would like to offer more clarity about, and that is the node system and map generation. The new farming 2.0 and other introduced items have also made the gameplay more enjoyable. The performance has greatly improved, making the game run much smoother and look visually more appealing for everyone. We always strive to push the limits of what's possible on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and this update required a lot of work to make it happen. Now that CULTIVATOR is out in the wild, we're thrilled to see the positive feedback coming in about the new systems and improved terrain textures. ![]()
